Located 40 minutes south of Jodhpur, this lovely, family run fort is a great favourite for those who prefer to be out of the city and in a rural setting. This lakeside palace is the ancestral home of a local noble family, bursting with colour and history not to mention home to one of the finest Marwari horse stables in the state. This heritage hotel has been lovely nurtured and restored over the last fifteen years and is a haven of peace and tranquillity.
The palace has a myriad of beautifully appointed rooms and suites, and for a truly peaceful stay choose a room overlooking the serene lake. The rooms are all furnished in typical Rajasthani style with frescos, murals, mirrored cushions, cosy alcoves and local artworks and sculptures.

There is an excellent pavilion lined swimming pool and the Rajasthani cuisine served here is truly delicious. Lunch is served by the pool and the upstairs dining tent makes for a romantic dinner setting with its low hung lanterns and embroidered ceiling.
