This boutique fifteen room property is set amongst sixteen acres of mango orchard, on the edge of Sasan Gir National Park, the last wild habitat of the elusive Asianic Lion.

Each of the fifteen rooms are spacious with light, soft neutral interiors and views out over the surrounding orchards. All are replete with the latest mod cons, this oasis has lots to offer as a modern-day sanctuary.

Famed for its cuisine there is a strong Gujarati influence on the daily changing menus, along with the regions Parsi influence as well. Central to its theme of allowing each guest to have as much flexibility as they would like, guests can choose where and when they would like their daily meals. The chefs are on hand to ensure that the menus are innovative, and focus on local, seasonal produce, many ingredients are soured from the inhouse vegetable garden.

Excursions here of course focus largely on the daily safaris to Sasan Gir National Park, however there are also nature treks, picnics and even a day visit to the seaside town of Diu to keep everyone entertained.

Sasan Gir National Park is home to approximately forty species of mammal and over four hundred native and migratory birds. Alongside the mighty Asiatic Lions, there is the Asiatic wild ass, hyenas, Gir fox, pygmy woodpecker and black buck. Providing plenty to go in search of.

Sasan Gir can be reached by flying form Mumbai to Diu or the nearby railway station of Veraval and Junagagh. Sasan Gir works well as part of a wider Gujarat itinerary.
