Tucked away from the crowds of the pink city of Jaipur in the foothills of the Aravalli Mountain range, you will find the boutique Rajashtani retreat of Anopura. Just an hour northeast of Jaipur, lost in a garden setting of lemon groves and frangipani trees, this farm has been lovingly converted with new suites and upgraded one and two bedroom villas, each furnished with local textiles, antiques and contemporary Indian art, lovingly sourced from around India. Bright hues of indigo and pink, cover the walls, adding depth without disturbing the harmony of the soothing surroundings.

The villas are each based on traditional bungalows with thatched roofs and their own outdoor sit outs, where pretty block printed scatter cushions offer a truly inviting welcome to your stay. The bespoke charpoy daybeds are invitingly located around each of the private pool areas. Each villa has its own dedicated host to ensure that you are well looked after throughout your stay.

The infinity pool and yoga deck along with the gardens offer a truly peaceful respite, as you journey through the cities of Rajasthan on your whistle stop adventure. There are leopard safaris, picnics in temple ruins at dusk, not to mention guided hikes, and even rock climbing through the surrounding hillsides to enjoy. Massages are offered onsite and wellness diets and programmes are available for rejuvenation of the mind, body and soul.

Anopura has always been known for its creative home cooking cuisine, with the five-acre organic farm at its heart.  Explore the farm, and breath in the fragrant aromas of the home grown, coriander, lemongrass, and chilli plants, alongside many other indigenous herbs and spices, and over thirty types of vegetables all used throughout the menu.  Fresh salads are effortlessly mixed with local Rajashtani specialties such as Chittor Paneer and One pot Dal Banjara.  The complimentary breakfast is served daily at the Farm Dining Pavilion whereas lunch and dinner, are served a la cart in the Farmstead restaurant and bar.
