Raising the bar of the safari experience in this unique region, Aramness offers the finest accommodation, throughout its 18 spacious villas or ‘kothi’s’, providing either one or two bedrooms, private courtyards, pools and forest views. Local artisans have created the stylish mud, mirrored artwork that sit alongside antiques, sculptures whilst the Jali screens let dappled sunlight, fill the bright, airy interiors.

Here the staff are warm and welcoming, with many coming from the local area. Daily changing menus offer a delicious mix of international and Indian fare, with a huge onus on seasonality and locality. Walk through the edible garden with one of the chefs, tasting and picking along the way or enjoying a garden to table picnic lunch.

With aspects of both African and Indian safari elements this sumptuous new age safari lodge has lots to offer from the large pool, gym, inhouse spa – where the herbal ingredients and locally cold pressed oils will fully allow you to relax and unwind. A well stocked library and a billiards rooms all provide plenty to do. This family friendly resort caters for children of all ages young and old, and the kids centre has a wealth of games and activities to entertain.

Driven to help protect the last surviving habitat of the Asiatic Lion, the inhouse guides are a wealth of knowledge to help you make the most of your stay. From guided forest walks, replete with picnic breakfasts to visiting a local Maldhari family in their home and of course exploring the wonders of Sasan Gir National Park. Game drives are available in both the morning and afternoon, using the Aramness jeeps with a limit to four adults allowing for a truly intimate wildlife experience.
