Tucked away in the heart of Jaipur’s iconic pink lanes in the jewellers Bazaar, lies an intimate luxurious boutique hotel, The Johri at Lal Haveli.  This is the second property from the Honawar Hospitality group and the famous Kasliwal family, custodians of the world famous Gem Palace emporium, that launched the charming 28 Kothi, also located in Jaipur in 2016.
 
This 19th Century family haveli has been lovingly restored using local crafts, traditional materials and textiles, to return it to its former elegance.   This refined town house hotel is peppered with customed made furniture, vintage treasures and striking murals to create a seriously slick hotel right in the heart of the city walls. 

Comprising of five luxurious suites all overlooking a central traditional courtyard.  This is the perfect oasis from which to really explore this antique city, from the inside out. Each suite is apply named after a gem and is rich in its hues and textiles inside. The painted frescos, marble floors, rain showers and sumptuous beds are all highly enticing, not to mention the private roof terrace of the Moti Suite.
 
The main restaurant is a highly refined vegetarian affair, soucing all local vegatables from the multitude of surrounding markets. The intimate cocktail bar is within the restaurant, where as the residence only Pukhraj Lounge is perfect for high teas or cocktail hour. If you like the staff will happily serve you on the biouj roof terrace.  There is also a private temple, jewellery studio and a treatment room offering ayurvedic massage, detoxifying treatments and yoga sessions on the roof top overlooking the pretty pink city below.

Please note that this residence really is right in the heart of the city, with narrow lanes and busy markets. Perfect for those intrepid souls who want a full immersion into this pretty city and her secrets.
