Lunuganga, is the latest edition to the Teardrops portfolio and provides an enchanting stay in a country estate that was created and lived in, by the famous architect Geoffrey Bawa. Set in a 15-acre garden that took over forty years to create, this is a soulful artists retreat, neatly located on the west coast of Sri Lanka, near Bentota.

Providing just ten charming bedrooms, this is a truly unique property, where the rooms are scattered throughout the landscape, each created as individual retreats for visiting artists. Each has a charming location with soothing garden and lake views and several have their own private balconies to sit and just listen to the dawn chorus.

The Geoffrey Bawa Suite is the only room located in the main house and has a wonderful living area replete with a rare collection of original artworks and his own personal library.

Meals take place in the open plan lake view restaurant with a delicious mix of local and global cuisine on offer. All dishes are made with the finest local ingredients, many sourced from the surrounding farms nearby.
