The Ultimate Travelling Camp, is a unique concept where guests can now access some of the most remote and beautiful corners of northern India whilst staying in true glamping style, like the travelling kings of old.

For the spiritual seeker, look no further than the ancient & celestial Kumbh Mela festival, held every 12 years. From the 10th January through until the 5th March 2025, enter a world of hypnotic mantras, drumbeats, chiming bells and heady incense mingling in this ethereal celebration dating back throughout the centuries.

The Kumbh Mela 2025 will take place in Prayagraj, one of the holiest pilgrimages in India. Prayagraj is where the confluence of the holy river Ganges meets the mythical Sarawati to become one.

2025 will again welcome the safe hands of the Ultimate Traveling Camp, who have created the beautiful sanctuary of Sangam Nivas. The camp is dedicated to providing the quintessential experience of the Kumbh Mela where one can experience Indian philosophy and mythology at the very source of this ancient gathering.

The camp focuses on connecting guests with the spiritual aspect of this spectacle, whilst providing a wonderful oasis of luxury and comfort from which to explore. The camp comprises specially appointed tents providing a soothing retreat from the colours and chaos of the festival that surrounds it. There is an all day dining tent, a quiet space for meditation and reflection, a reception area and a spa tent to enjoy.

The days begin with morning yoga, saluting the sun, before heading off on guided excursions into the festivities, meetings with saints and sadhus along the way.
